Invisalign® is the invisible way to straighten, or align your teeth with clear aligners that are customized to fit and to progressively move your teeth—without metal wires or brackets.

Treatment:

The treatment consists of a series of aligners that will be worn approximately 21 hours a day and changed every two weeks. Each aligner is individually manufactured with specific and exact calculations using computerized technology.

Who is a good candidate for Invisalign?

Invisalign Aligners vs. Braces

The aligners are virtually invisible, and look similar to teeth-whitening trays. They are made of a thermoplastic material uniquely developed for the Invisalign treatment plan.

Through the thermoplastic design, the aligners shift the teeth through the correct placement of controlled force. The main difference is that Invisalign manages the force as well as the timing of the force. At each stage only certain teeth are allowed to move.

Making Aligners Fit For You

The Invisalign procedure is quite simple. During your consultation appointment X-rays and teeth impressions are taken to help the dentist plan a course of treatment. These impressions are sent to Invisalign headquarters where they are used to create an accurate, 3-D model of the teeth.  ClinCheck software is then used to simulate the movement of teeth during treatment to create a set of aligners that match your needs.
