Meet the Doctors

Tracy Walters-Badillo DMD

Dr. Tracy Walters-Badillo spent most of her life in Kentucky but now calls San Antonio her home. She graduated from the University of Kentucky where she obtained a Bachelor’s of Science in Clinical Laboratory Science. Dr. Walters-Badillo furthered her education at the University of Kentucky and received her Doctor of Dental Medicine Degree.

Dr. Walters-Badillo then attended the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio where she completed a General Practice Residency. Her postgraduate education included treating patients in the postgraduate dental clinic, as well as treating medically compromised patients in hospital setting. The residency program also focused on performing procedures such as IV sedation, implant dentistry, oral trauma triage and treatment, and removal of wisdom teeth.

Dr. Tracy Walters-Badillo is an active member of the American Dental Association, the Texas Dental Association, the American Academy of Implant Dentistry, the American Academy of Periodontology, and the Junior League of San Antonio. She has completed extensive continuing education in Restorative and Cosmetic Dentistry, Invisalign, Implants, Bone Grafting, and Conscious Sedation.

Her training also includes certifications in Laser Dentistry by Biolase, Botox cosmetics, Invisalign, and Dermal fillers. Dr. Walters-Badillo and Dr. Kevin Klenke are both Preferred Invisalign Providers.

Dr. Walters-Badillo’s first priority is her wonderful husband Fernando with whom she enjoys spending time with and traveling. In her spare time she prefers living an active life outside of the dental practice, which includes hobbies such as, running and cycling.

Ken Garretson D.D.S

Dr. Garretson was born in Phoenix, AZ, but his family made several moves during his childhood. He completed high school in Plano and moved to San Antonio in 1981.

Dr. Garretson is a 1985 graduate of Trinity University, and he received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 1989 from the University of Texas Health Sciences Center here in San Antonio.

Outside of dentistry, time is spent with his wife and three children traveling and enjoying a variety of activities. Dr. Garretson also enjoys playing competitive tennis in local tournaments and leagues.

He is a member of the American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association and local district dental society. Dr. Garretson is also an associate (non-specialist) member of the American Association of Endodontists.

Kevin Klenke D.D.S

Dr. Kevin Klenke was born in Wichita, Kansas. He has called San Antonio home since 1977. Dr. Klenke completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Kansas. He received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery Degree at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio.

Dr. Klenke is married with four children. The calendar stays packed with activities ranging from soccer practice to theatre. With the little time he does have for himself, Dr. Klenke enjoys fly fishing and snow skiing.

Dr. Klenke has completed extensive education in Restorative Dentistry (crowns, bridges, dentures, and fillings), Implants, Root Canals, and Orthodontics. He has taught in the Department of General Dentistry and the Departments of Physical and Occupational Therapy at UTHSCSA.

Dr. Klenke is a member of the American Dental Association, the Texas Dental Association, and the San Antonio District Dental Society. He has also served on the Board of Directors of the San Antonio District Dental Society.
