It is very rare you come across someone who does not have Fibro but understands at least can empathize. Lydia was sweet with my youngest and made him feel comfortable by treating him with friendly kindness and spoke with him as a peer instead of a youth. Lisa was able to keep my oldest calm and she was able to empathize with his experience so he felt like he didn’t have to explain himself because she knew. He really appreciated the understanding that the dentist offered and how she again was clear with no negativity or hesitation in discussing his needs. The appt. was stressful and he was still anxious but they did a great job. With Fibro your pain levels are a little wonky, you are extra sensitive and often the person doing the work really doesn’t understand or even care. Lisa started with a cleaning tool, I tapped her, I didn’t have to explain go into some montage on why and how. She simply said “Not working?” I said ‘No’ so, off she went to get another tool to see if that worked. No hesitation, no questions, simply took me at my word & said, ‘ok lets’ try this’. She did that three times before we settled on one that we could use and I am positive that if I had tapped her out she would have willingly kept trying. I had only been to WPFD a couple other times for cleanings and check ups. I chose them after reading the online reviews. Yesterday, Dr. Walters did a filling for me. As usual, the staff was prompt, friendly, and accommodating. I mentioned that my teeth were sensitive due to recent bleaching, so they did everything to protect my other teeth from cold air and water during the procedure. Dr. Walters asked frequently if I was doing okay. The whole procedure only took about an hour and I was surprised that my mouth and lip weren’t numb after the procedure — only the gum and tooth area that she worked on. I came home and ate a normal meal that evening with no pain or discomfort! The office is a converted “historical” house. When I’m in the chair I look out onto trees and fields, which I find very relaxing. 10/26/2011 google places

Did an amazing job with my wisdom teeth extraction. She also did a great job in finding my vains for the IV with that cool machine her hubby brough in.

When I broke off part of a bicuspid while flossing, I immediately called and was given an appt. for the following morning. Thank you for the quick response to my need. I now have a new filling and was also relieved to learn that the tooth was not broken down into the root, but was easy to fix. I appreciate being gotten in so quickly. 12/23/2011 Demandforce
